Compression terminals

Compression terminals are used in applications that require very high current. They are commonly found on high voltage lines leading to and from heavy devices such as transformers.
Compression terminals are attached to cables with specialized tools that apply very high crimping forces to compress the barrel of the terminal around the end of a cable. The crimp can bear the weight of the cable even under adverse conditions.
